I love the scent of you on my clothes.

Planned to have a day trip with Joyi since she is back. The plan was to go Genting and then to Ipoh, but in the end, the trip to Ipoh was cancelled because we're afraid that it would be too tiring for the drivers. Planned to go on Friday so we booked the room on Wednesday. There were some technical problems here and there, but in the end, everything worked out perfectly fine. Well, actually it was better than expected.

Joyi overnight-ed at my place the night before. Miss these sleepovers. Apparently I talked to her when I was sleeping. Even I didn't know I sleep talk!

Went to help twins' mum out and then rushed home at 11.30am to get ready cause the boys will be picking us from my house at 12pm. Rushed like crazy. Things were everywhere. Thankfully I packed my things the night before.

Despite the rush, there's always time for a picture :)

Left Subang about 1 in the afternoon in Joon Xian's car. Stopped by Gohtong Jaya for lunch before heading up. We were all starving. After lunch, we checked into our 2 hotel rooms. We had the 2 rooms at the end and they're connected. Perfect! Went to walk around before having early dinner. We didn't enter the theme park, so there wasn't much to do besides walking around and taking pictures as well as videos. Was supposed to visit the Ripley's Haunted House, but some of us were too chicken to enter.

We all love reflective surfaces :)

While waiting for the bus peeps.

Joyi!

Can you feel the love?

Spot the 3 busybodies.

After dinner, we went back to our rooms to freshen up. Joyi and I wore the same hoodie! The hoodie she got for me from Australia as my birthday present. I bet she burnt a hole in her purse, stupid girl :') When we walked out of the bathroom, it took them awhile to notice it. Blur people.

Thank you so much fatso :) I love it.

Freshened up and chilled in the room for a little while. Then, the guys started multilevel planking. It looked so fun, even the girls joined in. It was hilarious!

Epic!

Headed to Starbucks after. Apparently there isn't Java Chocolate Chips in Australia so Joyi was craving for it and I was craving for their Toffee Nut Latte. In the end, only Alvin, Joyi and I were drinking while the others sat outside Highland Hotel. After we're done, we walked out just to find them singing by the roadside. There was one part where Shermun forgotten a part of the mandarin song he was singing, and one of the passer-by helped him complete the verse. It was awesome! I've never seen someone as open and as friendly as him. He's from Chung Hwa and he have other friends from Sarawak. That's all we found out about him. LOL! Didn't even get his name. After singing and freezing, we went back to the room. Then, the whole night started.

Street karaoke.

All of us :)

3 bottles, 2 hours(?), 9 people and in the end, there were only 3 sober people. So many things happened. There were running, crying, falling, talking, puking and so much more. It was one of the most crazy and fun night. For the first time, Joyi was the one taking care of me instead of the other way round. At first everyone was fine, but after 1 went crazy, as if like a chain reaction, everyone else started to act crazy as well. If it wasn't for the puking sensation, the night would be perfect.

Everyone woke up before 11am the morning after. Unbelievable. Checked out and went to have lunch before going back. Shermun, Hong Joo, Benjamin and Szu Ern took the bus down while Alvin, Joon Xian, Jia Chien, Jo Yi and I took the car. Upon reaching Ampang, we made a spontaneous trip to Bidor to have duck noodles. Epic! It took us almost 2 and a half hours to get there because Google Map led us there using the trunk road instead of the highway. Had our duck noodles and headed back to Subang.

Bidor duck noodles

Was exhausted upon reaching home but most of my classmates were going out. And it's been awhile since we all gathered together as a group, so I went to meet up with them. Almost all of them were there. Went to Little Bally to chill. Couldn't say it was an alcohol-free night cause the others drank, but it was a sober night. Nevertheless, the sober gathering was nice :)

A.F.N.Y.! ♥

Classes start today. Well, for some of my friends anyway. The remaining still have about a week more before they have their classes. Seeing everyone going back to college, it triggers my nerding mode. Weird. I know.

As for those that just graduated from Pre-U and foundation, almost all of them know what and where they'll be in a few months' time. As for me, my near future is still as blur. It's like everything is so uncertain. It's frustrating. I thought I had it all figured out, unfortunately, I was wrong. I thought after a year, I would know what I want to do. But to be honest, I don't.

Gah! I'm in need of serious help.

* * *

Anyway, went for lunch and then shopping with Joyi today. Finally, after more than 8 months, I went to Pyramid with her. It's been awhile since I've been shopping. I don't know how to shop anymore. Unbelievable, no? The amount of times I went shopping in 2011 can be counted with my fingers. Anyhow, the time spent was great. Can't believe how fast time flies.

Also, not forgetting, today is Janet's birthday! The girl that I mentioned a few posts ago, the older sister that looks younger than me. I didn't know this until almost at the end of the year. In college, you learn to not judge a book by it's cover. She's a real charmer. Very warm to be with. Overall, a very sweet and innocent girl.

Happy 19th Birthday, Janet! :)

By the way, here's the making of Pakstv : New Year's Resolution!

P/s : If you have not watched the short production, here's the link ;) Pakstv : New Year's Resolution

Finally the day I've been waiting for. Joyi landed in Malaysia's airport! On new year's eve. It's been about 8 months seen I saw her in person. 8 insane months. Missed her like mad! I complain to my mum so much, I swear at one point she's worried that I'm not... Uhh... Straight.

Anyway, welcomed 2012 with her in Laundry, just like what we did 2 years ago. Can't believe I can actually celebrate with her this year. Tried to call the others to come, but unfortunately, they had other plans. Only managed to surprise Joon and Alvin, with Lawrence's help.

After 8 freaking months.

Happy 2012 to you too drunkard :)

Happy 2012! Cheers.

* * *

The following day, we planned to go for dinner with the others. Most of the Paks were able to make it. Awesome! The moment Joyi walked into the house, all of them shut down for half a second. Awkward, but epic!

When we were about to leave for dinner, Mabel came back. Surprised her. The way she greeted Joyi, it was at that very moment that reality sank in, Joyi is back. It brought tears of joy into my eyes. I was never this happy for anything to experience anything like this. This was definitely the first.

Went to Sri Petaling to meet up with Sarah. Her reaction was the biggest compared to the others. It was really priceless.

Our first dinner of the year ♥

Went back to twins house to watch the Pakstv production. The editing is damn awesome, if I do say so myself. Much effort was put into making this video. The editors were up the whole night trying their best to meet the deadline which is on the 1st of January 2012.

So can you do me a favour and please spare 10 minutes to watch it? :) Thanks! And if you like it, please share! Your support is very much appreciated.

P/s : There are hot/pretty guys and girls in it ;) Enjoy!

Happy 2012 everyone!

Can't believe it's another year. So, what have you accomplished last year?

I enrolled myself into South Australian Matriculation, March intake and survived it. At the beginning, I felt miserable in the class I was placed in, I wanted so much to change class. Today, I'm glad I didn't make that change. If I did, I wouldn't have met my crazy, spontaneous, one of a kind classmates. Everyone is so different, and yet we're all the same in that way.

For most of the year, I kept to myself. Only about after semester 1, I began to mix with the others. The only regret I had during the whole SAM journey was not being friendly enough.

Became quite close to a few of them. There were conflicts here and there, but in the end, I guess everything just worked out. Had a great time with all of them. Can't believe we're going to be going our own separate ways in a few months time. It's like I've just met them and now I've got to part with them, 8 months is just too short. Oh well, I guess everyone have to move on. I met them and walked this rocky road with them, that should be enough to celebrate instead of being sad that we're parting ways. We'll definitely meet again.

Welcomed 2012 with a blast! Too bad I missed the fireworks. Hope 2012 would be better than 2011 :)

Went for dim sum with the Paks this morning. The plan was to meet up at 8.30 in the morning, which as usual, failed. This time, I was smart enough not to force myself to wake up. Woke up at 7.30 in the morning, Whatsapp-ed them and went back to bed when I didn't get any reply. Until about 9 in the morning, Zhi woke me up, saying that we'll be meeting at Jia Chien's house instead. Woke up and got ready with super speed.

While having dim sum, the idea of a day trip struck one of our minds and off we went to Malacca. Spontaneous! All of us went home to shower and to get ready before leaving. Got lost a few times, even before we left Selangor. Fortunately, we managed to get to the North-South Highway and off we go.

dim sum!

Because we arrived at Malacca late, there wasn't much we can do. Headed straight to have some pork satay and then for some satay celup. Next, we went to the beach after going to the Nadaje Bakery to get their famous Mille Crepe. Had our little feast on the beach after watching the sunset and cam-whore session. Then, last but not least, Pak Putra Tandoori and Naan! Their tandoori is seriously to die for. So basically, our day in Malacca was all about food, food and more food. Well, nothing keeps you occupied like eating does :)

Went back to Subang after that. It's a nice spontaneous day-trip although we got lost several times WITH the help of GPS. Don't ask how, we just managed to get lost somehow. It was definitely a fun day. Managed to keep my mind busy with all the food around.

Paks ™

Pretty ending ♥

"Stolen kisses are always sweetest"
- Leigh Hunt.

I guess everyone is leaving. One by one, back to where they came from. The fact that I've graduated SAM is starting to hit me. First Anis, then it was Janet.

Anis is one of a kind, enery ball. She's filled with fun and energy! Seriously. I rarely see her tired. She can go on and on and on. Awesome company to have.

Janet, well she's older than me but I've always seen her as a younger sister. Maybe it's because of her looks. No joke. When I first saw her, I thought she was younger. Until I found out that she was born before me. Shocking. Though she's really quiet, she's really nice to talk to. Very easy to get along.

Then, today, it's Tze Hao turn. He's always been like an elder brother to me - or this case, younger brother. Always there and ready to lend a hand, most of the time. It felt nice, having someone to rely on. Really nice to talk to. And just like Anis and Janet, really fun to be around and really easy to be with.

All of them left Peninsular Malaysia to be with their family. To go home. I wonder how it feels like, being so far away from family and where you come from. How long it took, to cope with the foreignness?

Going to start my course in UCSI next year and I'm considering of the option of staying at the campus there just because it's troublesome to travel to and fro everyday. However, to be honest, the thought of it scares me a little. I'm never an independent person, though I've always wanted to leave and to be on my own. So to be away from my parents, away from my bed, my computer, my bathroom, my comfort zone, I'm not ready. And I'm starting to doubt if I ever will.

Remember the feeling;

"I'll survive", that's what I said to Joyi and that's what I intend to do, physically and mentally. But now I see that it's easier said than done.

You can never really satisfy everyone's need unless you forsake your own. You can never really be truly happy unless you neglect the interest of others. Whenever you take, someone else has to give. When something goes missing, it has to be somewhere else... I guess there's always a balance in life and never really a win-win situation.

Been having trouble sleeping these past few days. But every time I fall asleep, there would be dreams that I refuse to wake up from. Dreams that are so vivid, I long for them to be real.

Uncertainty.

Upon touching down in Sepang, we went back to Subang for supper and then headed straight to Port Dickson because Anis, Ruishan and Andrew were there. Told you their the most spontaneous people I've met. However, only David, Tze Hao, Chor Koon and I went. Kim Eik and Fiona couldn't make it.

Reached Port Dickson around midnight. Went to visit the beach a little before going up to the
room they've booked. It's some sort of a 2-rooms apartment, but we dragged all the mattress out to the living room instead. I like it. Felt cozier that way.

The guys finished the remaining Chivas from Langkawi and played cards while Chor Koon and Anis slept. Ruishan was the first to go down. The way David tried to make him go down, epic! In
the end, only Andrew, Tze Hao and I were awake. As usual, we came up with the craziest idea. To take a half an hour drive to Pantai Cermin to watch the sunrise. Mind you, the sun was almost about to rise.

As usual, Andrew drove like a maniac. However, by the time we reached, the sun was already sort of up and it was cloudy. So, sad to say, again, there is no sunrise in Port Dickson :( Explored the beach a little before heading back to the apartment to find them all still sleeping.

Napped a little while Anis, Ruishan and Andrew went for breakfast. Checked out and headed to the nearby beach. By the time we got there, it was noon and the sun was blazing! So, we went for satay and went home instead. They went to the waterfall while I went for Zhi's dinner.

Slept at Anis's place in Kuala Lumpur for the night. Love her apartment! Went to Pulau Ketam the day after. The plan was to meet Janet there, but unfortunately, after all the wrong turnings, by the time we got there, she was already on her way back to Subang. So, we went to the Royal Selangor Yatch Club for dinner instead of seafood in Pulau Ketam. Picked Janet up after dinner before heading to KLIA to send Anis off.

Going to miss her craziness like mad. She's the one girl that's up for all the crazy things the guys planned. And I mean everything. From spontaneous trips to
Genting to Malacca for mamak. She's one fun energy ball. A great companion :')

Miss Talif.

Somethings are not as they seem.

A little overdue, but...

Went to Langkawi for a 4 days 3 nights stay with the usual people. The morning of the day we were supposed to depart for Langkawi, we made a trip, up north, to Ipoh to visit Jia Wei. Came back to Subang and finish packing before heading off to LCCT for our flight - yeap, we're crazy like that. Because all our trips are so spontaneous, it always turn out great.

The nutcases.

When everyone was fast asleep,
this is what we're doing.

Savedhi!

* * *

Arrived at Langkawi in the evening. After renting the car and stuff, we headed off towards our hotel in Burau Bay. Berjaya Resort is really relaxing and amazing but to be honest, it is a little inconvenient. We should have stick with the hotels along Cenang beach :( Oh wells, it wasn't all that bad. At least it's quite, relaxing and have an amazing toilet :)

Everyone seem really happy here somehow :)

*poke*

Went to have dinner in Perdana Quay at Golden Wok Live Seafood. Although the environment there was nice, the food was a little overpriced. Took some pictures in Perdana Quay before heading back to the hotel.

Didn't really do much for the first night as everyone was pretty tired. Only Kim Eik and David had a little fun with the mini bar in the room, while Fiona had her fun with the camera and light.

* * *

Woke up and headed to Oriental Village. Went onto the cable car there. The view of 700 meters above sea level is amazing. And the temperature there was just right; chilly with a bit of warmth from the sun. We could see all the way to the lighthouse in Perdana Quay. Overall, awesome! But, we should have ate a little before going up. There wasn't much choice of food once we reached the top. Snapped some pictures from above. Oh! Met a Hongkie couple and they gave us a free polaroid picture. Love it.

1276.

The view outside our room.

Our breakfast for the 3 mornings.

Picture perfect ♥

Planking.

Really enjoy having their positive auras around.

Our hotel from the cable car.

Stopped by Kota Mahsuri on the way to Kuah town. Wanted to pay Mahsuri a visit but all of us ended up having ice-cream outside instead.

Went to Langkawi Parade to stock up on our inventory. Bought about Rm100 worth of food and drinks just to bring back to the hotel. Had dinner at some random mamak stall before we continued roaming around. The food tasted pretty good and the price was rather cheap. Win!

We walked the night market near the market a little. Pasar Malam in Langkawi. That's my first. Headed to Cenang beach after. The street along Cenang beach comes alive at night. No wonder my brother recommended us to stay there, but unfortunately he was a little too late and the hotels were all fully booked :( Love the beach at night. The sky there was filled with stars. The moonlight reflected the sea nicely. The warm sea breeze were blowing. Add them all together with the relaxing sound of the waves. Love every bit of it. Took some pictures and headed back to the hotel for some fun.

Nothing beats being there;
but still breathtaking nevertheless.

All 7 nutcases finished the whole 1 litre Absolute within half and hour or so. And as expected, 2 out of the 7 was down, the other 2 was tipsy and the remaining, well, we quite sober - proud! Took care of the 2 drunkards and went to sleep after. The situation was insane. I guess that's why there were so much to tell the next morning :)

* * *

Headed to Pasir Tengkorak after everyone was awake. Basically we spent the whole day playing with sand under the sun. The girls didn't plan to get wet cause there wasn't a place that we could change or wash up. But in the end, we - Fiona, Chor Koon and I - got thrown into the sea as well. Well, should have seen that coming. Somehow, Pei Shi and Michelle managed to remain dry though.

*poke*

Pei Shi

Michelle

They plank everywhere!

Fiona getting drenched.

Chor Koon's turn.

Don't ask.

Spot the dead body :O

The body got washed up.

Um...

Potential Sunsilk models.

Headed to Oriental Village to grab dinner but unfortunately, the shops were about to close. Went back to the hotel to shower. While the others were resting, a few of us went to buy some food from the nearby mamak. I think we've been to every mamak in the west side of peninsular Malaysia! Anyway, after eating, we spent our last night in Langkawi doing the usual. Killing our livers. This time, again, 2 were sort of gone.

* * *

Checked out from our room and planned to go Island Hopping. I swear, they are the most spontaneous people I've ever met. Awesome-ness. We rented our own private boat and had our very own private tour to 2 famous islands. One was the Pregnant Maiden Island and the other was, I forgotten the name of it.

The view I woke up to every morning.

The benches.

Toilet.

The first stop was the Pregnant Maiden Island. There was a free fish spa and a lake for the public to swim. All of them soaked their feet into the water for the otters (I think) to nibble on their dead skin. I'm an extremely ticklish person and a little too chicken to put my feet into it, so I became their photographer :) Then, as expected, the guys jumped right into the lake with no end. Apparently the lake was really deep, so the others remained dry.

On our very own speedboat.

Pregnant Maiden Island.

Fish spa. Or should it be otters spa.

Yeap, everywhere.

Went to feed the eagles next. Well, more like our tour guide fed and we watched. We didn't get to see the huge eagle statue at Dataran Lang, so I guess watching the real eagles made up for something. They're huge! Especially the silver ones, the locals call them Langkawi.

Langkawi.

For the last stop, we went to an island, which I've forgotten the name of it. Again, the guys went bizarre and the girls got drenched. This time, Pei Shi and Chor Koon were dry. Had our fun until it was time to go.

Headed back to the hotel. Because we've already checked out, us girls had to clean ourselves in the toilet by the pool. Miserable-ness! But the guys were worse. Apparently they had to shower in the public. Speechless.

Went to the airport and bid goodbye to Langkawi and our wonderful trip. Though there were a few unwanted incidents, the important thing is that we had fun most of the time and well, I guess we just have to look at the bright side of things. Though I'm still devastated that I lost all the pictures I've taken in Langkawi :(

A nice morning walk that would be better with company.

Bye Langkawi.
Despite the unwanted incidents, it's one amazing trip to remember.
